Two real sponsor wins on the GGC side. DTC Q2 is turning the corner.

Good meetings with eBay and TopGolf on the Championship sponsorship side. eBay has a follow-up this week. TopGolf wants to announce a partnership inside the next 30 days. On the DTC side, May is tracking ahead of last year and Q2 to date is up +9% YoY on gross sales — a real reversal from a slow Q1. We're still working to close the premier sponsorship tier; that's the open work between now and November.

§ 01

GG Championship / Nov 9–15

This week
Two big sponsor conversations moved forward. Productive meeting with eBay — follow-up scheduled this week to push to terms. TopGolf wants to announce a partnership inside the next 30 days; we're working on the form of the deal now. Both meaningful for event-week activation. Hot
Sponsorships
Delta $700K term sheet shared. Ambassador decision pending: Nelly Korda or Rose Zhang. Expecting a call back this/next week.
Talent
42 Pro-Am invites out, combined P0 reach 600M+. 12 non-golf creators, 21 golf creators, 9 public figures. MKBHD verbal yes. We're tracking the rest tightly through June.
Working on
Still working to close the premier sponsorship tier. Most declines we've seen are either budget or "no Austin presence." Brands still in the funnel: Truist, GMC, Verizon, Microsoft, Chipotle, Pepsi/Mtn Dew, Coca-Cola, Whatnot, Fanatics. Davis is leading the close-out work; Creator Capital is adding a dedicated ad-sales resource. Warm intros into financial services, automotive, hospitality, or tech are where the board can help most. Business / Wholesale, Product, Ops

Wholesale
$417K booked this week. EDI is running 111% to plan and we're 81% to our $14.4M annual target. Scheels added $69K in Desert Open + Sunday Green orders (19 POs across 14 doors), and Golf Town came in at $26K — both expected to hit EDI next week.
Retail
Target is leaning in. They received our Q1 2027 mockups and want to expand the Good Good section. Dunham's Spring '27 review went strongly — we expect both door count and SKU assortment to grow YoY. Golf Town has forecasted 1,296 hats for the Desert Open drop.
Working on
Bueno hat sellout is leaving money on the table. Best-seller is out of stock domestically. Looking at rushing inventory from the factory or bringing in blanks to decorate locally. Customers love the product and we need to be back in stock with more colors faster. Watch

99% of GGC merch POs are now in production. Final call needed on the drinkwear sponsor (Yeti vs Stanley). Spring '27 layering line is thin — we're adding additional q-zips and performance hoodies into the Sunday Green and True Spring assortments based on Kevin's pull-through feedback.
Ops
WAB conversation moving forward. Meeting went well; we're coming back with an aggressive proposal. SSC and Sunflower also progressing on Ireland and Scotland creator travel (SSC owns Dunluce in Portrush and Seaton House in St. Andrews) — good for both creator content and a potential GGC trip in 2026.
Working on
Retailer order automation. We're migrating wholesale order flow through CRSTL — the integration layer that automates orders coming from EDI (the electronic data interchange retailers like Dick's and Target use). DSG and Target are live, WWG is in testing, two retailers remain. Until those are done, the team is processing orders manually. Significant time savings once it's done. Watch

Q2 is the turnaround we've been pushing for. Q2 gross is at $2.38M, up +9% YoY through May 25. May alone is tracking +9% YoY. The last 30 days are the strongest YoY window we've had this year, up +21%.
Context
YTD is still down -18% vs 2025 because of a slow Q1. But the run rate has flipped — we're outperforming last year on every recent window. If June and July hold, we'll close the YTD gap meaningfully by Q3.

Kansas City shoot is paid content-heavy. Already filmed integrations for First Watch, Smackin Sunflower Seeds, Golf Gamebook, and Golf Galaxy. Dropping over the next few weeks. Dallas prank video also landed well.
Girls
Road Trip Episode 2 dropped with SoFi as the title sponsor — strong viewership response. Five episodes left in the series.
Brad
Rocket Mortgage sponsor exemption announcement. Targeted for this week or early next. A meaningful credibility moment for Brad and the talent stable.

Closing in. Got the EA's feedback from Shibby back on our finalist. We're moving toward finishing the process — a real unlock when this lands. Hot
Dir of Product & Innovation
Two strong candidates, one visiting this week. The visiting candidate is our current top pick. Hoping to bring this to an offer in the next couple of weeks.
Controller
Recruiter actively sourcing. This has been open longer than I'd like; making it a priority through June.
Content team
Logan is interviewing 2–3 hires across production and edit to keep up with the channel slate.

Partnerships / Outside the Championship

Eventia Golf
NDA signed and financials received. Looking at it as a bolt-on acquisition for our championship side. Nick is setting time with the CEO to dig in on the structure.
SSC / Sunflower
Ireland and Scotland creator travel on the table. SSC owns Dunluce in Portrush and Seaton House in St. Andrews — they're keen to host our channels and explored bringing GGC members. Strong potential for content + GGC trip overlap in 2026.
Mtn Dew Tour
$800K title for the August 11 Tour stop is on. Pre-production underway. Yaamava Casino actively negotiating to title the Dec 11 Monarch Beach stop — the same ownership group owns the Waldorf and the Palms, so this opens a multi-property West Coast partnership pipeline behind it.
Pinehurst
Scoping a public-run content day across Pinehurst No. 10, Rodeo Dunes, and Pebble Beach. Strong audience hook for the Main channel.

Working through / What's open

GGC
Premier sponsorship tier still the open work. eBay and TopGolf move us forward materially; we still want a couple more at that level. Warm intros from the board into financial services / automotive / hospitality / tech are still the highest-leverage help.
DTC
Q1 left a hole in YTD; Q2 closing it. Year-to-date is still -18% YoY because Q1 was slow, but the run rate has flipped in our favor. If May and June hold, we close the gap meaningfully by Q3.
Inventory
Bueno hat stockouts are leaving sales on the table. Working on factory rush + local blank decoration to bridge until next production lands.
Forward plan
2027 business plan in draft. Alex is owning it. Needed for WAB and broader discussions.
